Want to get a clothing makeover on the cheap and help us do our great work? Brown Bois around the country host a Bespoke Bois Night or Brunch in their area, bringing their community together and helping to raise some much needed funds for the Brown Boi Project.
How it works: You put out the word to all of your friends, family, and homies to bring their gently worn clothes and accessories they don't wear anymore. The items should be clean and in good condition with no major damage but anyone who brings in a bag of clothes gets a credit of $25 bucks towards shopping.
Prices are great ($5 for shirts and $10 for pants!!!) and all you need is a space to host the event, some racks for clothes, and hangers. Play music in the background (some folks have also done light free food) and the place is jumpin.
