The Real Intersections of Gender & Racial Justice

As part of the Summer of Brown Boi 2015, join us for a free informal dinner and dialogue to build community conversation and next steps for action. How can we better allies to each other across identity lines as people of color working for gender and racial justice? How does the Black Lives Matter movement strengthen our work? What more can we do to be better allies in our intersections? And, how does social/media play a role in our work and relationships?

RSVP is required, this space is for People of Color. This event is FREE. Food will be provided.

This event is part of Summer of Brown Boi. #SoBB 2015 will build upon the work from last year to build power and a larger conversation around gender for young people of color. Over the summer, we plan to engage 1 million conversations - in cities across the country and through social media - to bring young people of color into the gender justice movement, build a conversation around self-love & self-care for people of color and identify regional & local policy changes that can support wellness and healing in communities of color all over the country.
